Reading Always - RIM BlackBerry Launch Delay Based QNX. Research in Motion relies on its new operating system, QNX, so the BlackBerry can still compete with Apple's iPhone, Android-based smartphones, as well as Windows Phone. But it seems to be delaying the launch of the RIM BlackBerry 10, which is called will use the QNX operating system. 

As quoted from the pages of The Telegraph, RIM said it is not able to meet the needs of the chip for the new series BlackBerry. Thus, 10 had delayed the launch of the BlackBerry.

In addition, The Telegraph also launch, 10 new BlackBerry could be introduced late 2012.Whereas previously the target RIM will launch in March. 

RIM does no longer dominate the smartphone market, and market controls only 9.2 percent in the third quarter of this year. Compare it with 24 percent of RIM acquired last year.

Canalys analyst would have predicted the decline of the launch of the BlackBerry-based QNX will further increase the pressure on RIM.

Previously, RIM is considered disappointing investors for failing to meet sales targets between 11 to 12 million smartphones in the Christmas quarter. Whereas last year RIM managed to sell 14.8 million smartphones.
