Husband Queen of England Successful Live a surgery. Queen Elizabeth's husband, Prince Philip, reportedly underwent successful surgery due to a blockage in the coronary arteries. But now Philip is still undergoing treatment at the Hospital for further observation.
As quoted from The Guardian, The Duke of Edinburgh who is now 90 years old is still undergoing a special examination in thecardiothoracic unit, Papworth Hospital, Cambridge. Previously, Philip was rushed to hospital by helicopter from Sandringham Estate, for complaining of chest pain while celebrating Christmas with family.
"Duke of Edinburgh are known to experience a blockage in the coronary arteries that causes tightness in the chest. The operation was performed successfully with stenting procedure (put a ring) coronary safely," said a spokesman for the Palace.
Prince Philip was expected to celebrate Christmas in the Hospital. A number of the royal family also seems to be coming to visit Philip's Hospital.
As quoted by CNN, at the age of 90 in June, called the Palace of Prince Philip's workload is reduced. In an interview to the BBC, Philip also said the burden is reduced him to enjoy the rest of his age.
